2020 Cosán na hEagna
The Inspired Path of the Goddess
Gather with us in beautiful County Meath, Loughcrew, Ireland, for the 3rd annual Cosán na hEagna, The Inspired Path. This year’s journey is the Path of the Goddess, inspired by the landscape of Loughcrew, the nearby megalithic tombs of Slieve na Calliagh and the astounding mythological and sacred center of Ireland, Uisneach.
We have the whole house to ourselves. We will reside in Loughcrew Estate, built originally in the 1850s, with sweeping views of the Irish countryside and gardens, nearby walks, reflection time, daily movement and meditation, exploring the Path of the Goddess that invites you. Our private chef lovingly prepares fresh, beautiful meals. There are quiet spaces to walk, reflect, and write. And any Irish gathering creates an opportunity for song and merriment!
Join our band of pilgrim goddesses in opening you to your own inspired path. How do you connect with and live into your own divine feminine energies? Are you listening to the voices of the Maiden, Mother and Crone that reside in all goddesses? Explore the inspiration of Áine, Brigid, Maeve, Danu and other Celtic goddesses to see the lessons they offer for our own journeys, no matter where we reside.
Our Goddess Circle
Libby Wagner, Goddess of the Journey, poet, teacher and coach, has mentored thousands of people to step into their voices, create a right relationship to livelihood, and step into their next threshold. She holds exquisite space for quiet courageousness and bold yeses. Libby is a poet, teacher, writer and speaker who works with organizations large and small, and leaders across the globe, to create the kind of lasting and powerful impact they desire, whether it’s through their unique approach to work, the language they use to influence and create, or the relationships they build. She is one of the only poets working in organizations where she inspires others to access and express their artistry, even when they might not normally describe themselves as creative or innovative. Libby is a founding faculty member of the Institute of Conversational Leadership and Invitas with poet David Whyte, and she was honored as a Nellie Cashman Woman Business Owner of the Year in 2014. In partnership with artists Steven Morris and Owen Ó Súilleabháin, she is a co-founder of The Studio, an immersive experience bringing artistry into leadership and organizational life. She has been quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review.
Body and Spirit
Ann McDonald, Goddess of Celtic Meanderings, yoga teacher, healer, singer and entrepreneur, works with students in Ireland and Spain connecting them to divine movement and inspiring way of looking at the world with gratitude and grace. Ann, who shares her gifts from the heart, has been practicing yoga since 1997. Her deep love of yoga has taken her around the world, on a journey of self-discovery and a deepening of her awareness and connectedness; aligning body, mind and spirit. Her singing, which she now weaves into her classes, is inspirational and deeply healing. She sings from the heart. Ann will guide us through the gateways of Yoga, Voice and Sound to listen deeply and connect with our true selves, our true nature
Aileen Markey, Goddess of Nourishment and Merriment, entrepreneur and penultimate hostess. An Irish native, Aileen ditched her fancy cosmopolitan, international life to launch Ireland’s first online gluten-free shopping store,
which garnered her recognition as one of County Louth’s entrepreneurs to watch. She regularly hosts gluten free cooking classes with local chefs and hosts Airbnb guests from around the world who come to enjoy Ireland’s Ancient East and her homemade GF soda bread.
Rev. Nóirín Ní Riain PhD , Goddess of Gregorian Chant, renowned Irish singer, wisdom teacher and interfaith minister will re-join us for a lively and inspiring session that always transplants and transforms. She coined a theological discipline of listening to the Divine, which she calls Theosony. Nóirín has released sixteen albums since 1978, including three with her sons. Philosopher John O’Donohue described her voice as “a celestial staircase, leading to the divine.”
Maria Hallatt, Goddess of Goings-On, lives in the little hamlet of Ephrata, Washington, USA, with her husband, children and two dogs. She makes everything better and wrangles all the people, places and things to make our Loughcrew experience truly GODDESS-like.
